This morning Julianne and I were able to attend Reba's class party. They had a very special visitor arrive shortly there after.
Reba asked for a bicycle and surprises. Of course, this is the first I had heard of her wanting a bike! Doug and I have been asking her for weeks (months) what she was wanting...and her response was always "surprises". I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the jolly ole fellow brings.
Before Santa left, he gave all the kiddos a coloring book and candy cane.
The group then sang a few songs for Santa and the parents. As you will see, Little Miss still loves to sing and dance!
Reba made it to the final 5 before being eliminated in the snowball toss (hot potato)
To end the party, the class decorated their teacher like a tree!
Tonight was Dallas' Christmas Program at school. He was pretty excited about it this year, and had actually practiced the songs around the house a time or two!
I was able to get a picture of the kiddos in front of the tree before we left (you might be seeing this on a Christmas card in the near future!)
Each grade performed two songs, but I only videoed the 1st grade...I apologize for the shaky camera work, I had Reba on my lap.
Doug and I were very proud of Dallas for singing along and doing a few of the hand motions.
Dallas' class getting a group picture after the program ended
I didn't think I had got the above photo, so I tried to get one of him walking out. He just happened to look over at the right moment!
Reba's preschool class performed a song for the staff in the office at her school last Thursday. Just had to share! You'll see Reba in the lower right hand corner.
And since I'm sharing a video of Reba singing, here's another one for you. This was taken while waiting in the pick up line to get Dallas from school.
I'm so glad I finally figured out how to upload my videos again because you are not going to want to miss this!
Doug and I were so incredibly proud of Dallas and his performance at his program this year. You might remember last year, he barely sang and did not do a single movement. What a difference a year makes! Enjoy...(oh, and like last year - warning: the video is almost 10 minutes in length, and it get a little loud in the first song)
Here are a few pictures I was able to capture as well
This was after the kiddos had walked in and Dallas first spotted Daddy, Momma, and Reba.

...On my International Harvester New Holland Combine
Last week, Daddy was harvesting at the Poseyville field, so I surprised the kiddos by taking them to the field so they could watch the combines.
Reba insisted that I take picture of her new shoes for all the blog followers to see...
Here comes Daddy!
Daddy took a break and ate supper with us, and then he was back to harvesting
Yes, we ended up staying until it was dark...the kiddos just didn't want to leave. Then, the farmer (who happens to be a friend from church) came to move the semi off the road and into the field. He asked the kiddos to help him. They were in 7th Heaven! When Farmer Frank started up the semi, Dallas smiled and said, "Just like on Smokey and the Bandit." Farmer Frank even let Dallas pull on the air horn, which he was pretty excited about as well.
Watching Daddy dump into the trailer one more time before heading home... Aunt Katie - do you recongize those hats? I only let them wear them in the van...
Oh, and here's a video that Aunt Josie captured the other weekend of the kiddos singing...International Harvester by Craig Morgan
