Anywho...I did a photo shoot with Dallas the day before last for his 9 month milestone...I thought I would share some of them with you:

And, finally, "I'm outta here!"
Until next time...

And, finally, "I'm outta here!"
Until next time...
Doug took Friday afternoon off work so he could take Dallas in for his 9 month check-up. Dallas weighed in at 21 pounds and 11 ounces, and he was 28 1/2 inches. I don't agree with his height, but I also know how difficult it is to measure a wiggling baby. (This is the same height he was measured at during his 6 month check up.) Anyway, the doctor says he is doing great! He also received his second flu shot, and he had his hemoglobin level checked (which was normal).
Here are a few pictures from that day...I guess I'm starting to slack on my picture taking!
...and yes, Dallas opened that cabinet door, removed his socks, and was trying to eat the rug!
Dallas got to help one of Missy Buhr's students with a class project this week. We received Flat Stan in the mail (from a story the kiddos read in class), and then we got to show him around Williamsburg. This was their picture together; before Dallas ripped off Flat Stan's arm...sorry Missy, I did tape it back on!
I finally did it...I put up the Christmas tree. I was trying to decide if I wanted to set it up or not. I didn't want to be constantly pulling Dallas out of it. I then decided to set it up in the back of my living room where Dallas does not play. Of course, I had to set him in front of the tree to get a picture, and he would not look at me.
Here is the finished tree!
We also finished the outside lights...take a look:
After a couple years, I am finally able to have my snow globe! If you remember, last year, I was not able to do lights because we were getting our house re-roofed, and Doug was out of the country with work.
As far as winter weather, we received a lot of ice through the night. The vehicles were covered this morning. The freezing rain is still falling, and they say it will turn to snow later today. Many schools in the area closed for today...let the long winter settle in. Oh, and we are to get our next winter storm beginning Sunday.

Yes, Mom pulled down the top of my PJ's thinking it would keep them from getting covered in food...only she didn't realize that I would just cover myself instead making us late for church!
When I finally went down for my afternoon nap, Mom and Dad worked on the outside Christmas lights. They got them all up, but not on because they need to a part for the porch light to plug in the lights. Mom says she will get it tomorrow and then put pictures up.
Dallas completely cleaned his bowl! We still feed him baby food to make sure he is getting enough veggies and fruits (and to finish off all that I have stocked in the freezer). In the last week, Dallas has also started eating crackers, toast, cheese, noodles, and yogurt. He is not very fond of the yogurt. Actually, it might be the one thing he completely dislikes! He makes this really bad face each time I try to give him a bite. Although, I can't blame the little guy...have you ever tried plain yogurt? Not really the best.
Aunt Katie found a Santa hat for me!

One last meal before heading back to Iowa.
Finally, as I mentioned, Dallas is getting pretty good at the standing thing. This morning when I went to get him out of bed...this is what I found:

OK...this is the last one. You know they are exhausted when they can sit by each other!
Watching the football game with Grandpa Robertson.
Chilling with cousin Jerry.
I'm getting the hang of this standing thing.
Meeting my new cousin Austin!
Someone smaller than me!
Us girls have been taking pictures like this for quite some time...
