Playtime at the Park

The weather has been great for this past week; therefore, the kiddos started asking about having a picnic at a park.  Lucky for them, our Saturday was open, and we headed to the Haubstadt park.  And wouldn't you know, as soon as we arrived, a train came through!  {It's one of their favorite things about that park.}
We then made our way to the picnic tables and enjoyed our lunches.
Then, it was time to play!

This was Julianne's first trip to Dallas and Reba's favorite park, and I believe she might think it's pretty awesome too!
Gotta love that springy duck!

Fun Friday Fotos - Dirt Track Races

Over the Memorial Day weekend, Doug and I took the kiddos to the dirt track in Haubstadt for a little bit of fun!  You might remember us going last summer.  Anywho...I didn't take my camera for fear of dropping it through the bleachers, so the photos came from my phone...

Needless to say, everyone had a great time, and Dallas drank 3 pops (a Mt. Dew, a Cherry Coke, and a Ski) while we were there!  He was wired the entire time.

Until next time...

Picnic at the Park

A few weeks ago, Dallas and Reba mentioned about taking our lunches to the park after school.  It was a beautiful day, so that is just what we did.

Dallas and his PBJ on a "white pancake" (tortilla)
Reba chose a ham "samich" on a "white pancake"
Dallas had a blast climbing and playing after he finished his lunch!

Reba, on the other hand, was ready for a nap and only played a few minutes on the bouncy duck
Until next time...

Lunch and Play Date

I sure hope you all don't mind more pictures at the park!  It was another nice day (not quite as warm as yesterday, but still nice enough to be outside in the sunshine!)

We decided to surprise Daddy at work with a picnic lunch and playtime at the park.  Everyone had a blast, and now the kiddos are taking a nice lllooonnnggg nap!

Enjoy the photos...we went a little "old school" today :o)

The teeter-totter
The merry-go-round...always a favorite
Here's a little video of the kiddos on the merry-go-round
Neither Doug nor I had been down one these "old" metal slides in while

Back to the teeter-totter
 Can't forget the swings!
Dallas loved the spring-action duck!
Little Miss had to look her best for the date today!
Until next time...
