Welcome Home!

After church, Doug and I headed to Corydon to get our kiddos back from Pa and Gram.  We decided to meet at Frisch's Big Boy.  Each time we eat there, the kiddos always want their picture taken with the Big Boy!
I'm hoping Gram or Aunt Josie will be sending pictures of their adventures, that I will be sure to share at some point!

Until next time...

Vermillion County Fair

Our first sheep show of the summer was yesterday in a little town called Cayuga, located in Vermillion County.  Check in time was very early, and with the time difference, we headed up Saturday night.
After unloading the sheep, we got some supper and checked in to the hotel.

Pa-paw, Ma-maw, and Aunt Lisa arrived shortly after us on Sunday morning with the rest of the flock!  Daddy then gave the kiddos a pep talk before heading into the ring...

Dallas and Sparkler
Miss Reba cracks me up in this photo!
After showing the ewes, there was quite a break before showing the rams.  Dallas was entertaining himself by seeing how far he could reach on the gate!
Ma-maw captured a great picture of Doug and I
Not sure what she's doing here...
We all had a great time, and it was a good first show of the summer.

Until next time...

Cincinnati - Part 3

We returned to the ballpark on Wednesday, August 7, for our second game.  We were able to walk around a little more and get a few pictures before finding our seats.

A nice family picture with Johnny Bench
We had enjoyed lunch at a Frisch's Big Boy before the game, and then the kiddos were excited to see this Reds' Big Boy!
Presentation of the flag
The team during the National Anthem
Our seats were right by third base, and Dallas was super excited to see one of his favorite third baseman was playing that day - Todd Frazier
And...his favorite pitcher was starting! - Homer Bailey
Reba was just about asleep when she heard her favorite player was up to bat (Shin-Soo Choo), and all of a sudden, she was interested in the game again!
It wasn't much longer though before she did fall asleep...
Dallas did a little farming during the game...
Dallas and Daddy enjoying the game
Chapman was brought in for the save once again

Bringing the heat - 103 mph pitch!

Reds Win!!!
After the game, we decided to walk around the ballpark some more - we wanted to let the crowd and traffic filter down...

Momma and the kiddos along the Riverside
Reba spotted Joey Votto in the Fan Shop
Dallas chose to have his picture with Brandon Phillips
A few more pictures outside and around the ballpark

We stopped to taste the great Skyline Chili - Daddy went for the coneys and Skyline Fries.  They sure know how to pile on the cheese!
The kiddos' meals came with dessert (Oreos).  Little Miss just likes to lick the center and leave the cookie!
She also ended the trip much the same way she started it...
Until next time...

Fun Friday Fotos

The kiddos went up north for Spring Break this year.  Lucky for Gram, her spring break was the same week as Dallas'.  The kiddos stayed with Pa and Gram for the first part of the week, and then spent the last part with Pa-paw and Ma-maw.  Unfortunately, Dallas came down with Pink-eye on the second day of vacation, but he was good to go once we got some eye drops to him.

Ok...onto the photos from their time with the Bergman's...

Helping decorate Gram's gum-drop tree...I wonder how many were ate before they could make it to the tree
Wait...didn't I say it was SPRING break?  Yep, it was chilly and snowy!
Dying Easter eggs

A trip to Pa and Gram's house is never complete without a trip to either Rural King or Tractor Supply...or both!
Love me some Frisch's!
Looks like they even camped out in...
Until next time...

Fun Friday Fotos

These are a couple weeks old, but still fun to share!

Reba got this Monkey pillow/sleeping bag as a Christmas gift.  She just loves to hug on it and snuggle with it.
One evening we ate at Frisch's...Dallas loved the Big Boy!
Have I ever mentioned I have silly kiddos...
