Peach Pie

I made my second peach pie today with peaches from our trees!  The first pie was made with white peaches, and today's pie was made using yellow peaches.
I didn't get my crusts sealed too well, so there was some boil-over action going on, so it's a good thing I'm not being judged on appearance/presentation!

Julianne was sitting with Daddy while we were enjoying our evening treat.  She was watching him so intently, but when I snapped the camera, she gave me this face!
Back to watching Daddy
Daddy finally decided he would share, but I think Julianne had second thoughts!
Until next time...

All Aboard!

Ever have one of those days when you feel like you always have the camera in your hands because the kiddos are being so darn cute...and then go a few days (or week) and not take a single picture? Today is one of those "gotta capture that" days. As for the top picture, Dallas loves to line up his tractors, trucks, cars, wagons, etc. This morning, he added Edward to the front!

Dallas thought Reba needed to have a few toys to play with while doing some tummy time (after my post earlier about Reba...I'm making a more conscience effort to put her on her tummy).
Later in the day, Dallas brought this music player down from upstairs (it is one of those that plays music, lights up, and blows bubbles and you can hang on the crib/playpen). Reba loved looking at it.
You can never have too many friends helping you brush your teeth (again, he has to put them all in a line!)
And a video...I think this is one of the first times Dallas has actually wanted to play with Reba.

Make sure you check out the other posts from today as well!

Until next time...

Iowa Power Show

This past Wednesday, Doug took the day off work, and we all headed to Des Moines for the Iowa Power Show (aka: farm machinery show). This was the first view we saw when we arrived...
...needless to say, Dallas got super excited for the day!

The Big D loved being able to get in the tractors, turn the steering wheel, and play with all the levers!
I can't believe how nice kids have it these days when they ride along! We used to have to sit on milk crates, upside-down 5-gallon buckets, or in the window...or if there wasn't a cab (gasp!) we had to sit on the fender!
It's hard to make it out in this picture, but Dallas is telling Dad to wait his turn to climb in
All in all, we had a wonderful time. Plus, it was nice to get out of the house.

On a different note, Dallas is beginning to "share" more things with Reba. He will bring a tractor to her and set it in her lap, or in this case...read the tractor magazine to her!
Until next time...

...Go Colts!!!
