Greensburg Tractor Show

Doug and I were lucky enough to be in Indiana the weekend of the Greensburg Tractor Show. It was a little rainy at the start of Saturday morning, but we still had a great time watching and playing the tractor games!

Dallas was going to take Gram on a ride

Spalding's Wedding

After spending a few days at the Iowa State Fair, we headed back to Indiana to celebrate the marriage of one of Doug's high school and college friends - Michael and Amy! The wedding was in Brownstown and the reception was at a winery near Seymour. We had a wonderful time (once we found the winery!).

Congratulations once again Michael and Amy! Thanks so much for allowing us to share in your special day.

Play Date

One of the last afternoons I was in Indiana, I decided to take the kids to the park. We met Gram after she got off work, and we also met up with Pam and Madeline (Reba's BFF...remember meeting her here)!

I thought Reba and Madeline would have a great time swinging, but there were no swings at Kennedy Park :o( so we just sat in the shade and talked and talked and talked!

KY State Fair & 10 Year Class Reunion

Early Saturday morning (the 28th), I took the kiddos to the Kentucky State Fair. Pa-paw, Ma-maw, Aunt Lisa, and GG were already there with the sheep. We made it to the fair grounds right at 8 o'clock - just in time for the show which started at 8:30. Dallas even helped set legs for a few classes. Pa-paw had much more patience than Momma...I kicked him out of the ring when he started kicking the shavings around. Overall, we had a good show and had a wonderful visit. (sorry no pictures) Too bad we couldn't have stayed longer, but I had to get back for my class reunion!

The Southwestern High School Class of 2000 celebrated its 10 year reunion at Rendezvous Hall in Shelbyville. There were 15 of the 48 (?) classmates in attendance. It was so nice to see and visit with everyone!

Here's the only photo I captured from the evening... Until next time...

Happy Be-lated Birthday Pa-paw!

Proud Pa-paw and his two little shepherds.I know I am a little late in posting this (Pa-paw's birthday was the 2nd of September), but in my defense today is the first day my internet is working since I have been back from Indiana!
