My friend, Missy, once wrote on her blog that she was told to take a picture each summer of her kiddos eating sweet corn. I thought it seemed liked a great idea, so I have been trying my best to do it as well.
Without further ado...
Until next time...
(don't judge, but yes, we will sometimes eat supper "picnic style" in the living room and watch the Reds)
Another month has gone by, and Julianne continues to light up our lives! Although, now that she is mobile (army crawling), she tends to get into a few tight situations...
This little lady loves the water! Whether it's in the swimming pool in her floaty or in the bath tub - she is splashing and laughing!
Julianne loves to watch and laugh at Dallas and Reba; especially when they sing and dance for her, or make funny faces and silly noises
Julianne has started playing with tractors. She likes to push them back and forth, and she will occasionally make noises (raspberries) while playing
Julianne can now hold herself up in a sitting position
My mom and dad hosted a family dinner for the 4th of July since my aunt was in from out of state. I didn't take but two pictures the entire day; I was having too much fun visiting to remember to grab my camera!
My Aunt Joyce and one of her granddaughters, Bria, along with Julianne
Ma-maw and Julianne
On another note, Julianne slept swaddle-free the entire time at Ma-maw and Pa-paw's house! That makes it a whole week without being swaddled at night.
Last night I put Julianne down for a quick nap without swaddling her. She had fell asleep in my arms, so I put her in her crib thinking she would sleep for half an hour or so.
She went ahead and proved me wrong, and she slept the entire night...swaddle free! I peeked in on her a handful of times, and I found her snuggled up with her "blanket" each time.
Let's hope this is the start of a very easy swaddle free transition!
