Making Sun Catchers
Gram and Pa gave each kiddo a do-it-yourself sun catcher kit for Valentine's Day. They had fun working on the project, but it was a bit much for Little Miss to get those tiny beads in the small areas.
and Dallas made a bumble bee
Once the beads were placed, the sun catchers were ready for the oven!
Cooling after being in the oven...
Now, we need to find something to hang them with and place them in their bedroom windows.
Until next time...

Reba's Projects
Reba and I have been doing some projects in the morning while Dallas is having fun and doing projects at school.
One particular morning, when we had the play-doh out, Reba requested a pond and a castle. I then added the tree, to which she stated that trees are not yellow. We then made the ducks and fish together.
Both of the kiddos love to paint. I came across these LARGE coloring pages in the basement the other day, and thought they would be the perfect size for Reba to paint. She had a blast, and she was soooo excited to show it to Daddy when he got home from work. (I did help paint a few areas)Until next time...

Fun Friday Fotos and Flick
The kiddos' friend, Mattison, came over to play one day while her mommy and big sister went to the National Farm Machinery Show to meet up with their daddy. Mattison loved (to flip) these little chairs the kiddos got for Christmas!
They giggled most of the morning doing this...

Dallas' Valentine Project
Dallas' pre-k class had their Valentine's Day party on Friday after the holiday. I decided for Dallas to help make the cards and gifts for his classmates. I found the idea from a post a friend made on Facebook via Pinterest. You can see it here.
The project started with me printing the cards off the computer, and Dallas cut them apart. Good thing Reba was there to supervise!
Dallas then signed his name to each cardThe next day, he added stickers to the baggies
Finally, I helped "zip-loc" (i.e. close) the bags. Here's the finished pile... (Each baggie has a little wind-up racecar)
We had a lot of fun doing this little project, and I believe all his classmates enjoyed the cars!
Until next time...
