Christmas with the Bergmans

We woke up early on Christmas morning to find what Santa had left at my parent's house. We then loaded up the kids and headed to Mass where we met up with Doug's mom, dad, and sister. After church, we headed back to Bob and Connie's house to open more presents and find what Santa had left there.

We are very blessed - or maybe very spoiled

I'm not sure who was more excited to open presents.
Dallas searching for his dad to get help opening another tractor!
Reba getting in on the present opening.
Dallas showing off his new Colts plate setting.
Doug and I got this lawn mower for him...which I really think was one of his favorites. Here he is taking a break from mowing the living room to get a "drink".
Dallas also got a John Deere Kids video...he found a comfy spot on Gram's feet for watching it.
This video is of Dallas mowing the living room carpet! (sorry it is a little dark)
Until next time...

Robertson Christmas

After having lunch with the Rosenfelds and playing cards all afternoon on Christmas Eve, we headed over to Rajean's parents for supper and to open presents!

Reba ready to open gifts...
Dallas was ready to rip into the gifts...so much, I couldn't get him to sit still.
Look at all those presents! We all must have been very good this past year.
One of the many gifts Dallas received...a new belt and buckle!
Dallas patiently waiting for Doug to help open his new tractor and loader.
This was one of the best moments of the evening. Dallas had been playing in all the wrapping paper (see video below) when Grandpa opened this gift. Grandpa excitedly claimed he got a combine...Dallas stopped dead in his tracks and headed over to the couch. Grandpa tried to "hide" his gift from Dallas, but it was too late, Dallas had already spotted it and wanted it!
This video is a little long, so it might take some time to load. At the Robertson Christmas, we throw the wrapping paper into the middle of the floor and pick it up later. Dallas thought it was a great place to play!
Until next time...

Rosenfeld Christmas

The first of my "catch up" posts.

We left Iowa on Tuesday, December 22...before the big storms hit. Our first planned event was Christmas Eve lunch with the Rosenfeld's (Doug's mom's family).

Abby and Emily were very excited to meet Reba
Molly and Reba
Dallas "playing" with some of his cousins ~ Cody and Collin
Dallas' gingerbread man that he decorated (with a little help from Gram)
Dallas helping Aunt Josie with her cards

One Month Old

Reba celebrated her one month birthday on the 17th of December. Here are a few snapshots from that day.

Tummy time! Reba is getting really good at head control.
Smiles are becoming quite popular around here
I'm going to try and do my best to use this pose for Reba's "month old" pictures...so you can better see her growth.
Until next time...

Promised Pictures

I am still without a computer, but thankfully, I am able to update using Doug's once again. (He's a great guy like that) As I mentioned in my last post, I got some new photos of Reba. Enjoy!
I took Reba for her 2 week check-up this past Friday. She weighed in at 9 lb 3 oz, and she was 22 inches long! Needless to say, she is growing very well! Doug and I can definitely tell she is growing (besides the fact that she has outgrown all the newborn outfits)...her little face and legs are filling out, and her tummy is becoming very round. Although, when we put her next to Dallas...she is still a very tiny little girl.
Sweet angel face...
Reba has received many wonderful gifts from our friends and family, and those same people have been generous enough to give Dallas something as well. Here are a few pictures of Dallas opening one of those gifts...
A new combine!
It's now the favorite toy!
Over the weekend, we went to a Christmas tree farm. We had heard that it was a neat place to walk around and that they had reindeer. Well, we heard wrong...this was pretty much the highlight of the farm...
It was fairly warm here this weekend, so Doug and Dallas played out in the snow. Doug has a little different method than mine for pulling the sled.
Until next time...
