Tired Boy

Here I am working on pictures from our weekend with Gram and Grandpa Bergman and Aunt Josie, when someone decided he was too tired to go anymore!
I'll get the other pictures and videos up soon.

Thanks again for coming to visit Gram, Grandpa and Aunt Josie! We had lots of fun.

Until next time...

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Yep. It happened today. We got our first snow. It started about 8:30 this morning, and it was finished around 10:30 a.m. Here it is 12:30, and it has all disappeared. I did capture a few pictures though.

Gram and Grandpa Bergman's car was a little covered.
I don't know how much longer my flowers will last with weather like this...
Looks like we will have to put some snow tires on Dallas' car soon!
Until next time...

Week 34

Six (6) weeks until due date!
Baby Gertie is doing awesome...putting on weight just like s/he should be, and making my belly grow daily. Take yesterday for instance...I was on my way to the grocery store, and was making a turn, when my belly got in the way and I hit it with my hand! Dallas can hardly sit in my lap anymore...thankfully, he is content sitting beside me when we read stories.

As far as how I'm doing...well, I'm not even close to be over this cough. As a matter of fact, it has gotten worse. Monday, I developed some nasal congestion and drainage. The drainage last through Tuesday...I'm still dealing with the congestion. Yesterday, I noticed my tonsils were swollen and inflamed. Today, my ears became plugged. I have not slept very well the last two nights. I get wheezy when I lay down...like when I have an asthma attack, only the inhaler doesn't help. I am also very sore from my head to my stomach. I think it is from the constant coughing.

So...today, I called back to the doctor's office, and thankfully, my regular family doctor (Dr. Boelter) was in and she was able to see me this morning! She gave me a nebulizer (breathing) treatment, an antibiotic prescription, and a stronger inhaler prescription. She said that I should notice a difference by tomorrow afternoon...and if not, to call back and she would get another prescription for me. AWESOME! So, let's hope this helps.

Until next time...

New Farming Partner

Dallas found a new friend to play tractors with today!
Have I mentioned that these two are best buddies? I'm very thankful that Charlie is so patient with Dallas...now, we need to work on Fred!

Until next time...

Hide and Seek

Tonight, I was on the computer and heard giggling. I turned around and saw the dogs peeking under the recliner, behind the blanket.
A few seconds later, Dallas appeared!
Apparently, the dogs won that round of hide and seek!
Until next time...
