Birthday Cake!

Warning: Doug did not know I was video taping Dallas eating his cake, so he yells at me when Dallas shoves the cake in his mouth (don't have your speakers up too loud). Also, I make some weird yummy sounds trying to get him to dive in. Enjoy!

I was going to upload more videos, but it is taking too long...maybe tomorrow.

The Birthday Boy!

Here are pictures from Dallas' big day!

We had lunch with Daddy at work. Doug's boss had pizza brought in...Dallas thought it was pretty good.
They even had cake and ice cream!
Dallas ate his cake and ice cream with Theresa
Jim and Judy even got Dallas a present...he wasn't sure at first what he was to do, but he caught on!
Yea! It's my own farm set!
Farming with Daddy
We asked Dallas what he wanted for his birthday supper, and he said Texas Roadhouse! He loved the rolls (who doesn't?)
This is fun!
Cheese!
Our family
Today, I was taking some videos of Dallas (found in another post), and the dogs wanted to join in. I then decided to get a picture of the 3 of them together...here is what happened...
That was the best one!

It was pretty late when we got home last night, plus Dallas had fell asleep in the car on the way home, so tonight, we cut into the cake.
Until next time...

Happy 1st Birthday, Dallas!

The making of the birthday cake!

Dallas' new love he discovered while helping me unload the dishwasher
Licking the spatula after Mommy iced the cake
The very upset little boy when Daddy took the spatula away
Dallas with his 1st Birthday Cake!
Not to toot my own horn...but I thought I did a pretty good job on the decorating. It's not 4-H grand champion...but it works!
Until next time...

Catching Up

Again.

I am going to start off by saying that I have had good intentions of updating pictures. Of course, the road to you know where is paved with good intentions.

I spent Saturday morning downloading the pictures from the camera and downsizing them. Doug and Dallas went to a toy show, so it was the perfect opportunity to update the blog. Plus, it was a rainy day, not too much on TV, you know...one of those days. When I finished downsizing the pictures, the rain had picked up and a fog was starting to set in. For those that don't know...our internet is from a satelite signal. Therefore, when the weather is bad (i.e. lots of fog), we don't get internet service. It finally stopped raining this afternoon. The fog finally lifted around 5 o'clock...so I'm now updating the blog!

This, of course, is the same reason for me not following other blogs lately.

You will find two more post following this one. I'm warning you...there are a lot of pictures. (Connie and anyone else with dial up...you might just let the computer sit for a while so they can all load.)

Enjoy!

Until next time...

Lots and lots of pictures

This was in our hotel room in St. Louis...since there was no pool, Dallas had to entertain himself with the mirror!
