Hello Everyone. I am using this time to ask for your prayers for our neighbor, Jessica. She is a freshman at Williamsburg High School. She has been battling a deadly virus at the University of Iowa Hospital in the intensive care unit since Nov 18, 2008. She has a very rare mono virus called HLH. It only occurs one in a million. She has a long road ahead of her, but she is a fighter.
There is a community group holding a benefit dinner and silent auction on Jan. 31st to help the family. I'm not asking for you to donate, but just keep Jessica and her family in your prayers. I will keep you updated as I find out more information.
Until next time...

Christmas Eve
I found my camera...finally. Then, I was finally able to download the pictures. So...this is the first of many posts of pictures. I will space them out over the next few days, as to not overwhelm you. Thus, begins our journey of Christmas vacation...
Christmas Eve was our first big day of parties. We spent the morning and early afternoon at Doug's Aunt Pat's for the Rosenfeld dinner. Dallas was blessed to receive a stocking full of gifts...
first we found a sucker
then, some new PJ's
He also received a bag of candy, which Dad helped him with and he received some gift cards, which we are still deciding what we will get him.The Guitar Hero/Rock Band game was a big hit with the family. Doug and I each tried Guitar Hero once...and I did better than Doug!
That evening, Doug, Dallas, and I headed to my parents for Christmas dinner and present opening. The tree was overflowing with presents.

We Are Home
We have actually spent an evening at our own home! Doug, Dallas, Charlie, Fred and I made it home Friday evening. We had enough time to unload the truck of all the goodies from Christmas, unpack the suitcases, and then repack the suitcases and reload the truck. We headed out early on Saturday morning to head up to Katie's house. My dad and a couple of his friends were out for the weekend to pheasant hunt...and Doug joined in the fun. Of course, it just so happened that there was a toy show along the way! Doug was able to hunt with the boys on Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday. Katie, Dallas and I just hung out at Katie's house on Saturday afternoon, and spent all day Sunday shopping! I found some great deals at JCPenney. Doug, Dallas and I left Sunday evening and made it back home around 10 o'clock. Doug went back to work today, and I began the de-spoil-ification process with Dallas. It might be a rough week for us, but we are so glad to be sleeping in our own beds again!
Have a great week...I promise I have not forgot about pictures.
Until next time...

Happy New Year!
Happy 2009 Everyone!
Doug, Dallas, Charlie, Fred and I are leaving tomorrow morning (Friday) to head back to Iowa. We are so thankful that we were able to spend so much time with family and friends while in Indiana. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Year. I did not take as many pictures as I had planned, but the few I have will be posted in the near future.

9 month photo shoot
Yea...two posts in one day for Rajean! If you haven't guessed, Dallas is napping at the moment; therefore, I am able to get some things done on the computer.
Anywho...I did a photo shoot with Dallas the day before last for his 9 month milestone...I thought I would share some of them with you:

And, finally, "I'm outta here!"
Until next time...
