Reba ~18 months

18 month stats

Weight: 22 pounds 10 ounces ~ 18th percentile

Height: 31 1/4 inches ~ 38th percentile

Head Circumference: 18.7 inches ~ 77th percentile

Our little girl turned a year and a half old yesterday!  Holy cow!  I would say that I can't believe she is that old...but I say that all the time.  She is turning into a beautiful little girl, and not my baby girl.  It amazes me how much she changes each day, and how many skills she is acquiring so quickly.  I'm going to do my best to list her milestones at this age...

Reba has 12 teeth now - all 8 in the front and one molar on each side, top and bottom.  She handled the molars about as well as the previous teeth.  A lot of fussiness, drooling, diaper surprises, and chewing on anything and everything!

She sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours at night (it just depends what time her brother wakes her).  Reba will also still take a 30-45 minute morning nap and a 2+ hour nap in the afternoon.  We are going to have a bit of a challenge when we get moved into the house because Reba hates sleeping in a room without Momma and Dad in it...

Reba has so many words it is hard to keep track of them!  Some of her favorite/latest things to say include:

She is currently wearing 12 month clothes, but will be wearing 18 month clothes as soon as we get the summer clothes out of storage...pending the closing on the new house...

Reba loves to identify facial parts - eyes, ears, nose, mouth, tongue, teeth, hair.  She will even name them as she points them out.

She loves to brush her teeth.  Anytime she sees someone with their toothbrush, she has to brushing hers as well.

Reba has started jumping.  She has loved to stand on the edge of things (sidewalk, flower beds, etc) and hop off for a month or so, but today she started standing in the middle of the room and would jump up.

The girl LOVES shoes!  She was absolutely in love with only her cowboy boots, but now she has grown to love any and every shoe!  (She gets that from her momma)

Along with her shoes, she has started to love bags.  She recently rediscovered a toy purse that she got for Christmas, and she now wants to carry it with her where ever she goes.  If she doesn't have her purse, then she will carry a grocery sack or the diaper bag!

Reba loves animals, especially cats and dogs.  She has got her sounds down for sheep, cow, horse, pig, dog, cat, bird and duck.

Reba wants to walk everywhere, but she always reaches for a hand to walk along with.

She loves to climb...it can get her in quite some trouble at times too.

Reba has started to make the sign of the cross when we pray at supper and at bed time.  She was really good about folding her hands to pray, but she has been getting distracted more recently during the middle of prayer (maybe she thinks our prayers are just too long)

And my personal favorite, she loves to give hugs and kisses!
