Sorry it is a little shaky at the beginning, but I just had to share.
Dallas had brought home this book from the library on a Wednesday, and I recorded this on the following Friday. Needless to say, Reba loves the story!
Until next time...

Book-It Pizza
Who remembers doing the Book-It program in elementary school? Yep, Doug and I have our hands in the air, too. Dallas' class started turning in their "reports" at the beginning of October. He has to complete 4 reports in the month in order to earn a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. We are pleased to announce that he met the goal; so last week, we headed out for pizza!
He was so proud of himself! He only ate one slice that night, but brought the rest home for left overs. Now, he can't wait to get started on this months goal!Until next time...

Walking Tall
A while back (I'm thinking it was Labor Day weekend), one of Doug's aunts passed down some toys for the kiddos. Included were two sets of stilts. We set them in the corner of the garage, thinking the kiddos were too young for them. Fast forward to a couple Sundays ago, Pa-paw, Ma-maw and Aunt Lisa came for a visit. Pa-paw noticed the stilts, and asked whose they were. As we're telling the history, Pa-paw proceeded to climb on and take a few steps across the garage (sorry, no pictures of that...) Ever since Dallas saw Pa-paw walk on the stilts, he has been wanting to try them out too.
Doug and I helped him a few times across the garage, and then we suggested that if he wanted to continue trying, he should move to the grass.
He hasn't taken any steps on his own, but he is getting better at finding his balance to stand!
Until next time...

Happy Birthday Daddy!
The kiddos were very excited to celebrate Daddy's birthday last week. They helped pick out a gift for him, and they each made a card.
When Daddy got home from work, I was out doing chores, and the kiddos were doing their best to convince Daddy it was OK to open his present while I was outside! Thankfully, Daddy convinced them to wait until I was back inside.
Dallas read his card first...
Then, Reba shared her cardExcitedly watching Daddy open his gift
A new Case skid-steer!
As many of you know, Daddy loves pie! He will choose pie over cake any day, so Dallas decided we should make a rhubarb pie. Dallas thought I needed to decorate it with a pulling tractor and sled;

Fun Friday Fotos - Trunk or Treat
This past Sunday was our church's annual trunk or treat. I was able to get a few pictures before heading out...
Buzz LightyearPrincess Tiana
Parishiners decorate the "trunks" of their vehicles and pass out candy to the kiddos. Dallas was much better about going up and saying "trick or treat". Little Miss stuck like glue behind big brother holding up her bucket.
They really liked this set-up because they were able to pick their own treats; I'm sure the tractor had nothing to do with it
Yesterday the kiddos were even able to dress-up for school.
Which were the same costumes they chose last year!
Whatever makes them happy :)
Until next time...
