Phone Photo Dump

Just some random photos that I were taken on my phone these past couple months...

Grocery Shopping this summer has been more interesting have 3 children in tow.  Luckily, one of our stores has these "Shopper in Training" carts that keep the older two occupied.
We have been having a blast in the pool!

Dallas had a fun time taking pics one evening

Then, he wanted a picture of everyone; therefore, here is our family selfie!
Whenever we go to Target, my kiddos LOVE to slap and climb on these red spheres at the entrance...

Unwelcomed Visitor

Ewww...My heart is still racing after running into this visitor while doing chores earlier this evening!
Yep, I was getting ready to go out the back gate (by the dog kennel - mind you), when I nearly touched him!  Needless to say, the hens didn't get their cracked corn treat tonight.  I was NOT going through that gate.

He wasn't in a hurry to leave because he laid there the entire time I was doing chores, nor did he mind me taking his picture!

Apparently, the cats weren't bothered by his presence either.
Also, I should make it known that Doug is out of town this week (he's pollinating corn in Canada), so he wasn't here to escort him back to the woods.  He was gone the last time a snake decided to visit my house too.  I'm hope this isn't a common trend...

Until next time...

Morgan County Fair

This past weekend, we showed at our last county fair for the summer.  Doug, Julianne and I drove through a few showers Saturday morning to get to the fair, while Pa-paw, Ma-maw, Aunt Lisa, Dallas and Reba (yep, the older kiddos have spent the last week with them) drove through an absolute down-pour!

The rain did move out around noon, but it left very humid temperatures!  We all survived, and Julianne was able to enjoy her first ice cream treat.  (and her being the third child, I forgot to take pictures)

Enjoy the photos from the evening, and once again, thanks Ma-maw for taking the pictures.

With our yearling (Rebecca) winning her class, I was able to go back for the champion drive.  Too bad we didn't win.

Jackson County Fair

Yesterday, we spent the day at our favorite county fair!  Enjoy the photos from our day and evening at the fair.  Thanks to Ma-maw for manning my camera and capturing the memories!

Dallas walked Sparkler by himself during the class, but Daddy helped hold her when standing in line.

Although, Pa-paw wasn't willing to let her take home the big banners...

Weekend Project

Doug brought home a decent pile of sweet corn on Friday, and even better, he was home and able to help me put it in the freezer!

It wasn't as many bags as I was hoping for, but it is a good start!

Fun Friday Fotos

Reba and her mini-twin after church
Dallas loves to sit with Julianne and "hold" her while watching TV (aka: Reds baseball) in the evenings.
The kittens have grown so much, and they are much more curious!  Let's hope they continue to stay around...
Until next time...

Winnie Roast

Who could imagine in the middle of July, we could comfortably sit around a bonfire and roast hotdogs!?!?  But with the rather cool summer we are having, that is just what we did last night...

Of course, a bonfire isn't complete without roasting marshmallows and making s'mores!

Until next time...

Never Forget

My dad has a sign that reads, "A boy will never forget the first girl he kissed, or the first tractor he ever drove."

It's still a little early for the kissing part, but I'm pretty sure my kiddos will always remember their tractor rides.

And here's one to help Julianne remember her first tractor ride!

Tractor Photo Shoot

Dallas and Reba each had their picture taken sitting atop the Oliver at about 6 months old.  It only seemed appropriate that Miss Julianne get her own picture too.  Unfortunately, it took a little while longer to find the time to get the Ollie out of the barn and dusted off...so Julianne's photo shoot was at 7 months.

First up, the Oliver needed a bath.  Thankfully, Dallas was willing to man the hose.
