1st Adventures with a Sippy Cup
Dad can I eat what you are eating?
We go to the doctor on Monday for the 6 month check-up. So you'll have to wait a few days to find out what the little man weighs in at. Doug stepped on the scale last night with him, and we roughly figured him to be at 21 pounds! Also, on Monday we will learn more from his skull x-rays. I did talk to the doctor yesterday, and she said that everything looks normal. For those of you that were wondering...with Dallas's torticollis, he has a flat spot on the side of his head from always laying on that side. But, everyone believes that it will shapen back out on its own.
Until next time...
Oh...yea! Happy Birthday Grandma Teresa!

I LOVE THE TRACTOR ONE! Do I forsee picture christmas cards?! :) He is too cute! Is the t...olis thingy.. is that where his neck muscles restricted his head? Not to be nosy, but what caused that, just the way he was laying in your belly? Or is it more genetics? So.. will the next one (I assume there will be a next one!) have some of the same difficulties, or was it mainly a fluke?
Glad to hear everyone is doing well! Happy Birthday Teresa!
The doctors and I strongly believe the torticollis was caused from the way Dallas was positioned in the womb. Pretty much, his head was stuck underneath my rib cage, and he laid that way for a good part of the pregnancy...causing (basically) a stiff neck. Because of that, he had trouble turning his head to the left...therefore, he would always lay on the right side of his head. He is much better at turning his head, but still sleeps on that one side.
We hope there will be brothers and/or sisters, and hopefully, they will not have the same problem. But if they do, we know what to expect!
