Monday Memories

The idea came to me a few days ago as I was browsing through some old posts on my blog...what if I devote a day every so often to look back at what was going on in our lives at the same time a year ago, two years ago, etc.  The more I thought of this over the weekend, the term Monday Memories came to me.  I whole-heartily apologize if a blogger out there in the blogging world already does this sort of thing, and if there is a linky party already devoted to it.  I do not intend to start a "party", but feel free to join in the fun.  Like I said, I promise, I am not meaning to steal another blogger's idea.

Fair Time!

Last night we ventured up to the Gibson County Fair.  I actually got to feeling better after my post yesterday... ibuprofen does wonders!

Enough about that...pictures!

After a delicious, pulled pork sandwich and a melt-in-your-mouth beef brisket sandwich, we found some ice cream!

Then, we were off to the tractor pulls

It was antique pulls!  We saw this little beauty win a few classes.

The kiddos thought this Moline was a funny color!

After a while, we then made our way up to the livestock barn.

Look at this giant rabbit we saw!

We then went back to the tractor pulls to watch the heavy class.  Reba was having a blast running toward me and then "flying" in the air

Dallas and Daddy were having fun watching the tractors!

 We saw this hi-crop tractor pulling the shuttle when we first arrived at the fair.  At the end of the night it was parked with all the other antiques.  Dallas thought it was funny that he could fit under it!

Hello?

Anyone still out there?

I promise one of these days I will return to blogging.  We had a wonderful, fun-packed holiday weekend.  Only, for me it ended in a severe case of pink eye!  Who ever knew that it could hurt this badly.  I also have some kind of infection (I didn't really catch what the doctor said), but I have swollen lymphs, plugged ears, runny nose, sore throat, stiff neck, and headaches.  Yea, I'm a real sight these days.  Let's hope the antibiotic and eye drops start helping soon.
