More of the Chickens

One day a few weeks ago, it was nice and sunny, so I decided to take Julianne to the barn.  Dallas wanted her to see one of the big hens.

We didn't let her get too close, just in case Miss Red decided to be ornery.

Reba was extremely happy to catch one of her banties

Dallas was even able to catch Sha!  Let me tell you, that little bird is FAST!

In a side note, Sha lost part of his comb this winter.  During one of the extremely cold snaps, he got frost bite on the front part of his comb.  It then turned black over the next few days later, and then eventually fell off.
