No...this isn't a football post...
I wanted to let everyone know that Doug finally made it home last night. The flight from Atlanta to Cedar Rapids was canceled because of the weather. Luckily, they were able to get on a flight to the Quad Cities (Moline, IL). After take off, the captain stated that because of weather in the Quad Cities, there was a possibility their flight could be re-routed to Omaha, NE! Thankfully, the snow lightened up, and they were able to stay on course. The four of them then got a rental car and drove through the snow back to Williamsburg. They arrived home about 11:30 p.m. The dogs were (like I predicted) very excited to see Doug. They kept crawling up into his lap while he was sitting on the couch...remember, Charlie isn't exactly what you would call a lap dog!
