This past Wednesday, Doug took the day off work, and we all headed to Des Moines for the Iowa Power Show (aka: farm machinery show). This was the first view we saw when we arrived...

...needless to say, Dallas got super excited for the day!
The Big D loved being able to get in the tractors, turn the steering wheel, and play with all the levers!

I can't believe how nice kids have it these days when they ride along! We used to have to sit on milk crates, upside-down 5-gallon buckets, or in the window...or if there wasn't a cab (
gasp!) we had to sit on the fender!

It's hard to make it out in this picture, but Dallas is telling Dad to wait his turn to climb in

All in all, we had a wonderful time. Plus, it was nice to get out of the house.
On a different note, Dallas is beginning to "share" more things with Reba. He will bring a tractor to her and set it in her lap, or in this case...read the tractor magazine to her!

Until next time...
...Go Colts!!!
