The other morning, I caught site of this guy hanging around the house. Yes, that's our dog kennel on the right side of the picture. Needless to say, that fox didn't hang around too long as soon as Charlie and Fred came running out of the barn!
Some more fun at Kids Kourt...a glimpse into Dallas' future?
At Kids Kourt, they have two of these Krazy Kars...Dallas loves them! He is still a little small for them (they say 3+ years on them), but he has figured out how to maneuver them.
Until next time...

Bumbo Seat
I bought a Bumbo seat for Reba on Ebay, and it arrived today!
Of course, Dallas thought he needed to test it first.
Reba giving the seat a test.
After I finally got Dallas to stop trying to pull Reba out of it and trying to kick her, and once I got him convinced that the seat was for Reba and not him...I caught Dallas playing with her (aka: tickling Reba's feet)!
Until next time...
p.s. make sure to see the previous post...two in one day!

Un-Creative Title
I'm sorry I don't have anything cute to name this post. It is just some random pictures from the weekend and the beginning of our week. Enjoy!
Reba watching the Colts game with me on Sunday. (She was excited for the victory)Once Dallas saw Reba was getting her picture taken, he had to climb up and get in one as well.
Have you ever gotten lost in a good book? Well, we about lost Dallas in the pile of books!
Reba has gone from a pacifier girl to a thumb sucker!
Wide-eyed after bath time. I love how her hair is going every which way. I'm thankful she still has hair on top of her head because she has a major bald spot on the back of her head!
Until next time...
p.s. I hope the pictures aren't too blurring...I used a new method to downsize my pictures this time.

Fun Friday Fotos
Reba is doing really well at holding her head up at tummy time!Trying to get a snapshot of Dallas...but he's almost always on the move!
Thursday nights are Doug's night with the kids while I teach my religious education class. This also means that Doug gets to feed Reba a bottle. Well, last night, Dallas decided to help. Doug had set the bottle on the table as he did something else. He then found Dallas doing this...
He's such a great big brother!

dALLas
Because the last two posts were all Reba, I thought I had better share some recent pictures of Dallas. He has been a terrific big brother to Reba. He is always wanting to love on her, hold her, and kiss her. He was even "showing her off" to another little boy at Kids Kourt last week.
Dallas got a set of MegaBlocks for Christmas. We play with them every day. Here is one of our many creations! I made quite a bit of applesauce this fall, and Dallas absolutely loves it! He will try to grab the jar out of the fridge each time we open the door. Here he is enjoying some applesauce on his oatmeal.
This boy is in love with shoes...especially other people's shoes. They are much easier to put on than his own.
Dallas after church this past Sunday. He gives me this look a lot when I ask him to smile for pictures! After I took Reba's picture yesterday in her carseat, Dallas decided he needed his picture taken in the carseat as well!
I mentioned Kids Kourt at the beginning of this post. It is held at the local rec center in Williamsburg on Tuesday and Friday mornings. It is a time for pre-school and younger children to release some winter energy. I finally took my camera this morning to capture Dallas playing!
He got along with this little boy very well. Zach just turned 3 this fall. They worked hard on building with those blocks!
And, then knocking them over!

2 Month Stats
Reba had her 2 month check-up this morning. Overall, it went well. She is a very healthy little girl. Reba tipped the scales at 11 lb 11 oz (75th percentile), and she was 23 1/4 in long (60th percentile). Her head circumference was 15.5 in (70th percentile...and about the size of Dallas' when he was born!)The pictures below are for a fun comparison...

2 Months Old
I can't believe that Reba is already 2 months old!!! We go for her 2-month check up and shots tomorrow (Monday) morning. I will update you all on her growth after we get home. Until then...here are some pictures!

Friendly Neighbors
We really do have the best neighbors in the world! It seems like each time it snows, we have someone different in our driveway doing this...
Dallas enjoyed watching while standing in the kitchen sink
...all out of the goodness of their hearts. We have never once asked to have our drive cleared. And, when we ask what we owe them, their typical response is something along the lines of "not a damn thing".

And...a post wouldn't be complete without a picture of the kids!
(Yes, Doug is home from work today. They actually closed the plant today.)
Until next time...
Doug had propped Reba up in the chair while he went to do something, and Dallas quickly climbed up to sit by his baby sis. Think he will always be this sweet?

Snowed In...
What do you do on a day when you are snowed in?
Play dress up and take pictures...of course!
Miss Reba (in one of her many new outfits she got for Christmas)

I got a firesafe box for Christmas - you know to keep my valuables protected
As far as the snow...Here is what the truck looked like this morning after over 7 inches of snow through the night.
Now, the wind has picked up and the truck is no longer covered because the snow has moved elsewhere. Doug came home for lunch and decided it was best not to go back to town. The roads were already beginning to drift shut. He knew he would be able to get back to work, but he was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to get back home at the end of the day. The kids and I aren't complaining...we love having him around! Dallas loved being able to watch Thomas and Friends with his daddy today.

The last of catch up photos
Dallas definitely loves his little sister! (don't mind that they both have their mouths wide open)
