Old Oaken Bucket Game

On Saturday, Nov. 27th, my family made the trip to West Lafayette for the Old Oaken Bucket football game!

We left early enough to do a little tailgating and socializing before the game...
Me and my dad before the game...
Katie and I at the game...
The Purdue marching band performing during half-time - one day after returning home from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
It wouldn't be complete without the World's Largest Drum
Doug and I...
We had a great time, even though the Boilers weren't able to put a W in the end
Until next time...

Reba's Birthday with the Bergman's

On Friday after Thanksgiving, we were able to celebrate Reba's birthday with Gram, Pa, and Aunt Josie.  Gram ordered a special cake for the occasion, and it was a big hit with Dallas Reba

And here she is enjoying her very first sucker...
I even made my world famous pumpkin pies ~ they were a big hit as usual

NAILE

The kiddos and I headed to Indiana on Nov. 13 in order to spend time there for Reba's birthday and Thanksgiving.  Our first event while there - the North American International Livestock Expo (NAILE) held at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY.  Daddy even came over from Evansville to spend the day with us!  Here are a few pictures from our day out...

Reba lovin' on some sheep
(no, my parents didn't take their sheep, we just went to see who we would know and do a little Christmas shopping!)
Dallas even "cowboyed up" and rode a bull!
Dallas and I waiting his turn - note the glove
The kiddos loved the petting area - especialy these ducks going down the slide

Dallas also really enjoyed the rabbits.
One more of Reba and Daddy

Until next time...
