She's pretty happy about getting her first pair of Wranglers! Don't they look great with the bling belt?

Celebrities
I guess you can call us celebrities now...
This past Sunday, Doug and I made the front cover of our church's bulletin! The picture was taken at the Valentine's Day dinner that our church hosted for any married couple. We decided it would be a great opportunity for us to get to meet some other people in the church; plus, they were providing free child care! We had a great time, and at the end of the evening, we won a prize for being the most recently married couple in attendance!

Working Sheep
Yesterday, while playing in the garage, Dallas wanted to get the bottle babies out to play with them. He then started trying to walk them - just like Pa-paw does when he shows!
I think they're going to be great showmen!
Needless to say, afterwards, the babies were tired!
Until next time...
*sorry for the poor quality pictures, they were taken on my phone*

Fun Friday Fotos
Yesterday was absolutely GORGEOUS!
It was sunny.
There was a slight breeze.
Oh, and it was 67 degrees!
I picked Dallas up from preschool,
rolled down the windows,
and we met up with Daddy for a picnic!
The kiddos loved the swings
and the slides
and the firetruck!
We ended our trip with a stop at McDonald's. Dallas can't get enough of their Shamrock Shakes!

Farm Machinery Show
Last Friday, Doug took the day off work, and we all headed to Louisville for the National Farm Machinery Show (or "Farmery Show" - as Dallas kept calling it)
We hadn't been there too long when Miss Reba decided it was nap time. She tried falling asleep laying back, but big brother kept elbowing her in the head...she showed him!
Dallas recognized the Kinze logo right away!
Reba spotted the big bull from a distance and wanted to go see him, but refused to get her picture taken with him! Dallas, on the other hand, jumped at the opportunity.
We didn't quite make it through to see the entire show, but we had to make sure to find the Monsanto booth to see the chopper built by Paul Jr of American Chopper!
Finally, we found a combine that didn't have a waiting line for the kiddos to climb up and a take a "ride"

Let the Countdown Begin...
Dallas has been asking, "How long til my birthday?" So, today, I made a countdown to help him see how long he has until his birthday...
That's right folks - in 20 days, our Dallas will be celebrating his birthday!
It's still hasn't sunk in that he will be four years old!

Thursday Tails
Our duo is now a trio!
We now have 3 baby lambs living at our house. Introducing Rafiki
Luckily, the kiddos are still loving have the baby lambs. They want to check on them each morning, throughout the day, and at night before going to bed. We have switched away from giving them bottles to them drinking from a milk bucket. The kiddos miss giving the bottles, but I don't miss getting up in the middle of the night!

Thursday Tails
This past Sunday evening, we found out we were adding to our family...
...baby sheep that is!
Pa-paw called to let us know that one of his ewes had a set of quads that morning, and he was wondering if we would be willing to raise two of them at our house. The kiddos were pretty excited when we woke them up from naps to head to Corydon to pick them up...
Pa-paw and Reba waiting as Aunt Lisa was getting the babies out of the truck
Aunt Lisa hold one of the lambs for Dallas to see
We put the babies in Fred's dog crate to bring them home
Introducing them to their new home (yes, they are living in our garage)
The kiddos telling them night-night
Dallas took an interest in helping right away
Yesterday, Reba finally decided it would be ok to help as well
I'm glad I have some good helpers - if only I could have them get up in the middle of the night...
We finally settled on names...
Introducing (Lightening) McQueen
and (Tow) Mater

Wordless Wednesday - Dallas' Boots
Dallas just loves these snow boots; he wears them even when there is no snow!

Baking with Gram
This past weekend, Pa, Gram and Aunt Josie came to visit! On Saturday, Pa, Daddy and I went to St. Louis for a toy show. The kiddos stayed home with Gram and Aunt Josie. Gram brought along a few projects...including baking some Valentine's Day cookies. I grabbed these pictures from Gram's camera before they left on Sunday.
Getting ready to cut out the heart shapes
Rolling out another batch
Gram also brought along some old magazines and pictures for another project. The kiddos got to pick out what pictures they wanted and made a collage on construction paper. They were so proud of their work!
I also grabbed some videos from Gram's camera...I'm working on putting them together to share.
