I really don't know whose idea this was, but they were both having a grand time
I found this Little Tikes Woody Van on a garage sale last weekend. They have been having fun driving it around as well.
Until next time...

Amana Tractor Shows
Today we headed to Homestead (one of the 7 Amana colonies) for the Annual Minneapolis-Moline Reunion, and then we venutred to Middle Amana where the Allis-Chalmers show was also being held.
Although the show was for MM and AC, the first vendor we came across was Wally's Tractor Hats. This is the same guy where I bought Dallas' Oliver hat for his birthday. Right away, Doug and I spotted this hat and thought a special little girl needed it...

Those farmer's will tinker and modify anything! (in case you can't tell, that's a picnic table on the flatbed)
In previous years, the MM and AC shows were both in Homestead, so when the parade started the MM's would come from one direction and the AC's would come from the other. This year, as mentioned before, the AC's were in Middle Amana; therefore, the parade only consisted of MM's. It was still a great time and Dallas walked away with a couple handfuls of candy!

The Rest of the Weekend
I am sorry it has taken me nearly all week to recap the weekend, but I figure why put so many things in one post when I can stretch it out to a week's worth of posts? Right?
While in Amana on Saturday, we did a little garage sale shopping. I find these clothes for Dallas (grand total: $1)
I also picked up a pair of shoes for Reba (got to give them the taste of approval)

Garage Sales - Here I Come!
Today started the Williamsburg City Wide Garage Sales. I packed up the kids and headed into town this morning and stayed until mid-afternoon. We stopped at more than a dozen places, and came home with a lot of loot! (probably too much)
Here are the clothes I picked up for Reba (ranging in sizes from 3 month to 18 month)

And my big find/small price items
The firetruck on top of the file cabinet was Dallas' reward for being sooooo incredibly good today! I had Reba in the stroller, therefore, Dallas had to walk at the stops. He always stayed right by me, and he didn't touch any of the things on the tables! He did pick up one toy at the last stop we made, but I convinced him of the fire truck instead. :)
