Until next time...
Update: as I was leaving the house to go pick up Dallas, guess what song was playing?
Darius Rucker's It Won't be Like This for Long.
And will you believe that it was at this part of the song?
Four years later ‘bout 4:30When I picked Dallas up, he was all smiles. His teacher said that he did great after a few minutes, and she said that he is "really starting to open up." Let's hope this gets easier with each day.
She's crawling in their bed
And when he drops her off at preschool
She's clinging to his leg
The teacher peels her off of him
He says what can I do
She says now don't you worry
This’ll only last a week or two
Until next time...
That is so ironic!!! Ciara cried the first entire month I took her to the new babysitter. I think it's just about change and being in a new environment with new people. Enjoy your peppers! So glad you could use them!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope it gets better each day. I remember leaving Josie at pre school and she cried every time. It tears you up. Hang in there,it gets better.
ReplyDeleteDuring my college days I was affectionally referred to as Ms. Missy at a few preschools. And I gotta tell you what one of my directors always told "new" parents... it is a pitty cry... for the mommy. Ya know, the kind of cry that makes you feel needed! :) I hope tomorrow goes better with less tears! Before too long, he'll be encouraging you to leave faster!
ReplyDeletePS.. sorry, I just noticed ALL of the errors in that previous post! I guess my brain is off of school too! :)
ReplyDeleteYea Rah Dallas!! GG
