Week 20

The "Half-Way" point...
Can you believe this bloggin' roll I've been on these last few days? Well, neither can I! But, you probably shouldn't get too used to it. I'm gonna say right now it might be a few days before I post again (aka: after the holiday weekend). Doug's parents and sister are making their way out this afternoon to help us celebrate. This year is Marengo's 150th celebration. It ought to be interesting to see the people that come out for it! I'll be sure to take pics of my "favorite" people.

Anywho...back to the baby post...The weekly progression chart:
I might have to start a second row on this...the picture is starting to get small!

Finally, for the "visual learners" I thought I would show you a comparison of week 20 with Buckwheat* and week 20 with Gertie*. (I even wore the same shirt for you!)
*Buckwheat (now known as Dallas) is on the left and Gertie is on the right. Even Doug couldn't believe the difference!!!

Until next time...

  1. Excuse my lateness on this...I pretty much only check your blog when Christa updates. Anyway, back a couple of posts you mentioned having a harder time sleeping...I sleep on my stomach too, so I had to get a body pillow. Have you tried that? I didn't buy a fancy one, I just got one of the long pillows from Target and a case to fit it. I think the pillow was $10 & the case was $10, but it's much better than spending $50 for a fancy body pillow. That pillow was my savior!

  2. Thanks for the suggestion Carla - yes, I do have one of those pillows. I got it when I was pregnant with Dallas. I'm just having to readjust to using it again!!!

  3. Oh my belly! You are definitely carrying Gertie a bit lower.... so what does that mean? Old wives tale girl, or old wives tale boy?! I gotta say.. I LOVE seeing you with a belly... even if it is a merely a baby bulge! :)

On a side note.. you're not coming home for the Shelby County Fair?! Jean.. I'm shocked! I'm making the journey today! :)
