We Made It

Well...we made it to St. Louis! Our original plans were to leave around noon, but Doug had a hearing test at the hospital this morning so he decided not to go back to work but instead come home so we could leave around 10 a.m. We were able to get packed and out the door by a quarter til 11. I think it was around 4:30 when we got to the hotel. Doug met up with the other gentleman helping with the audit, and Dallas and I chilled in the room. I was going to take him to the pool, but decided to first check it out before getting him changed. It was a good thing because there is no indoor pool! Bummer. I'm trying to be brave and gaining the courage to take Dallas to the zoo tomorrow (since we can't play in the pool). It is suppose to be around 60 degrees...so it should be a nice trip. Alright...I got to get to bed...the typing is making Doug stir in bed!

Until next time...

Oh yes, the hearing test...he passed...but that doesn't mean he listens!

  1. Hope you & Dallas have a fun day at the zoo! :)

haha...still laughing on your comment about Doug not listening, but glad he passed the hearing test! Isn't selective hearing wonderful? Mom and Jenna are excellent at it! :p

  2. I'm so glad my son passed the hearing test. I can't imagine that he doesn't always listen though! He always listened to me. NOT! Have a great time in St Louis. They have a very nice zoo. Give my grandson a hug and kiss from his gram. Take care.

  3. Ahh.. a hearing test! I had to take one of those last year with my phsycial to get my sub certificate.. and I FAILED! Know why I failed? Because the doctor took a reflex hammer and tapped the top of my head.. he asked me which ear I could hear it in.. I said "both"... then he said, "No, which is more dominant".. (seriously? I don't know!) so I guessed.. and failed! He wanted to send me to a hearing specialist... my real doctor told me he must have been a loon!

Ahh.. the zoo... how fun! I think you should definitely go... and you'll have a blast! Just watch out for those poop-flinging monkeys!
