Sorry for the couple day delay on posts. Halloween was here and gone before I knew it...and boy was it a super busy day for both Doug and I.
I worked the morning at Monsanto's and then subbed in town for the afternoon. After school was out, I went back to Monsanto to watch the employee kids come trick-or-treating. (Since we live out in the boondocks, we don't get trick-or-treaters at the house so it is fun to watch them at work.) There were a good number of kids that came through. Our friends Mitchell and Justin were dressed as Superman and a Bumble Bee respectively. Justin would even come up and "sting" your leg! I wish I would have had my camera.
Doug spent his day being audited for ISO (safety/documentation procedures). He is the ISO tech for the Pre-Foundation department and will sometimes audit other departments and sites, as well as get his department audited every 6 months. Thankfully, everything went really well, and they were finished with the audit by 1 p.m.
After work, we rushed home for supper and then I was off again! I went with some ladies from work to watch the musical Hairspray in Cedar Rapids. It was hilarious! I wish I had pictures, but they didn't allow cameras in the theater. We had such a great time, but we didn't get home until 11:30!!! Needless to say, I slept very well that night!
Now, here it is the first weekend of November, which means the National Toy Farmer Show is going on in Dyersville, IA. Bob (Doug's dad) and a friend of theirs came out last night, and they left about 7 this morning to head up there. They will spend the entire day there today, come home late, and get up early in the morning to do it all again!
Until next time...
Hey Madam Prego... I do believe it is time for a belly bulge picture post.. don't you agree? :)
