Over the weekend, Pa-paw and Ma-maw came to visit! I had asked Ma-maw to bring her noodle recipe and notes so she could teach me how to do it. I just love her homemade noodles in a batch of beef and noodles :)
I started on the noodles about the time the kiddos woke from their naps...and, of course, they had to help! Remember them helping Ma-maw at Thanksgiving? Anywho...here are a few snapshots of my kitchen helpers.

Thanks again for coming to visit and for bringing the noodle recipe :)

Rain, Rain, Go Away...
It's the same song everyone else is singing. This was the radar before I went to bed last night.
The arrow is where we live :)
Good thing I didn't bother washing these girls yesterday...
...They'll just end up muddy again the next time we go out for a ride.

She's a Big Kid Now!
That's right folks. Reba is officially a "Big Girl"!!!
We are a diaper-free home!
Whoo-hoo!
No more diaper-coupon clipping for me!
It's like we got a pay raise (kind of)
As a completion reward, Reba got her finger nails painted for the first time. She loved it!
Unfortunately, it was rather cheap nail polish and she has chipped it all off. I'll have to get better stuff for the next time :)
We are so incredibly proud of her and this huge accomplishment. Reba is such a little lady, and she will politely correct us when we call her "baby".
Lastly, here's a cute picture I captured of Reba reading her princess book to Lucy...she's such a good mommy to her :)

Fun (Flashback) Friday Foto
Last weekend, we met Pa, Gram and Aunt Josie in Clarksville, for a toy show. Afterwards, we ventured out for food :) We ate at the Texas Roadhouse in the area that also happens to be in the mall. From our booth, Dallas spotted the carousel. I thought it was funny that the kiddos chose the same vehicles they chose over a year ago at the Evansville Mall...
Then, Daddy jumped on as well...but I don't have a flashback foto to compare this one with :)

Extended Robertson Christmas
I mentioned in a previous post that we went to my aunt's house on Christmas day. It is a lot of fun when we all get together because there are so many little ones!
We then were able to get the little girls together
Kisses!
Then, there are the little dudes
We all gathered around to enjoy watching the Polar Express
Lastly, a picture of Dallas helping Pa-paw at the poker game (I don't think they won)
Until next time...
Reba couldn't wait to get her arms wrapped around Vivian

Fun Friday Foto
Last weekend when Pa and Gram visited, Pa brought along his pedal tractor so we could get a nice group picture of everyone on their pedals. I think it turned out great!

The Oliver has Arrived!
We ended 2011 on a great note...we were pleasantly surprised on New Year's Eve when my parents and family friend pulled in the driveway with the Oliver and wagon!
The kiddos were pretty excited as well!
We were finally able to get the tractor started on Monday morning (after a day and a half on the charger - the battery was beyond dead; therefore, we had to do the ole pull start method). We all climbed on for a trip around the yard, but everyone got cold quickly so we kept the ride very short. Needless to say, everyone is ready for the temps to warm up so we can get the Oliver out again. Thank goodness winters are a lot shorter here than they were in Iowa!

Christmas with the Bergman's
This year, we were able to spend Christmas morning with Gram, Pa and Aunt Josie. We started the morning with church, and then went back to Gram and Pa's house for some present-opening!
A quick picture of the kiddos in their Christmas clothes before tearing into presents
Our best attempt at the four of us...
Dallas was excited about the excavator in his stocking
Reba loving one of her new purses
A quick time out to play with their new toys
Dallas' new monster tread bobcat
Reba showing off her Minnie Mouse backpack
A new lunchbox for Dallas (for our picnic lunches with Daddy)
Once the kiddos were good and spoiled with all of their goodies, as were Doug and I, we left to head up to my aunt's house to spend time with my dad's family. Look for a few pictures from that afternoon in another post!
